PDP Goes Spiritual, Clerics, Candidates Hit The Street Under Heavy Downpour
Candidates, leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State have taken to the streets to seek the help of God ahead of the 2023 election. Naija News reports that religious leaders from different denominations stormed the PDP secretariat in Abeokuta asking for God’s intervention during the campaign tours and for success at the polls.
The PDP Chieftains and the religious leaders knelt down in the heavy downpour and prayed about the upcoming election.

The Edo State High Court sitting in Benin, the state capital, on Wednesday, disqualified the deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the September 19, 2020 governorship election, Audu Ganiyu. A member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, Kadiri Oshoakhemhe, had in a suit No: B/358/20 filed a case against the APC deputy governorship candidate and two others.
The presiding judge, Justice H. A Courage-Ogbebor, while delivering his judgement on Wednesday noted that Ganiyu presented false information to the Independent National Electoral Commission in his Form EC9.

Ini Edo Speaks On The Identity Of Her Daughter's Father
Popular Nigerian actress, Ini Edo, on Tuesday reacted to the criticism over her decision to have her daughter through surrogacy. Naija News had earlier reported that Ini Edo confirmed rumours making rounds on social media that she welcomed a baby through surrogacy.
Ini Edo in an interview released last Friday, disclosed that she had a daughter through a surrogate mother about a year ago.
She stated the baby is her biological daughter because her eggs were used to fertilize the child during the process.
